Mastering the Taximeter: Controls & UI 🚖

Our custom-built taximeter is your primary tool for success. Before you pick up your first passenger, let's learn how to manage your workspace like a pro!

Taximeter UI

🛠️ Essential Commands

•

/taxiduty: Toggle your availability for NPC dispatches.

•

/taximeter: Manually show or hide the taximeter UI.

•

/taxireset: If you ever get lost or mess up your layout, this command resets the meter to its default position and scale.

🖱️ Interacting with the UI

Because the meter is part of your car's dashboard, you need to 'reach out' to touch it:

•

Hold Left Alt to enable your mouse cursor.

•

Click the buttons on the meter directly.

📐 Personalize Your Workspace

Every driver is different! You can move and resize the meter to fit your preference:

•

Moving: While your cursor is active, click and drag any part of the meter (except the buttons) to move it anywhere on your screen.

•

Resizing: Hover your mouse over the meter and use the Scroll Wheel to scale it up (max 1.5x) or down (min 0.4x).

•

Persistence: Your position and scale are saved automatically and will be there the next time you log in!

Button Guide:

•

POWER: Turns the device on/off.

•

START/STOP: Begins or pauses the fare calculation.

•

FARE: Cycles through your available Rate tiers.

•

PRINT: Finalizes the trip and processes the payment.
