Data at Your Fingertips: MDT Guide 💻
The Mobile Data Terminal (MDT) is the central nervous system of our law enforcement operations. It allows officers to access critical information and log incidents in real-time.
⌨️ Accessing the MDT
You can access the MDT via the dashboard of any patrol vehicle or through your police tablet. Use the `/mdt` command to open the interface.
🔍 Core Features
•Suspect Search: Search citizens by their first name, last name, or Citizen ID. View their past criminal record, active warrants, and associated vehicles.
•Vehicle Database: Lookup vehicles by license plate or owner. This is critical for identifying stolen assets or vehicles involved in crimes.
•Incident Reports: Every major interaction must be logged. Create detailed reports, link involved citizens, and attach evidence to ensure legal cases are robust.
•BOLO Management: Create and manage 'Be On the Look Out' alerts for suspects or vehicles. Add updates and track their status across the state.
•Warrant Management: Issue warrants for suspects who have fled a scene. These remain active across the state until the suspect is apprehended or the warrant is cleared by a judge.
