Rules & Guidelines
Read and understand all rules before playing. Violations may result in warnings, kicks, or bans.
Important Notice
By joining the server, you are considered to have read and agreed to all rules. Ignorance of the rules is not a valid excuse for violations. Rules may change at any time, so make sure to stay updated.
General Conduct
Fundamental standards of behavior for all community members.
Respect & Toxicity
Discrimination, racism, and harassment are strictly prohibited. Respect all players regardless of their background. Toxic behavior in OOC channels will result in immediate removal.
No Cheating or Exploiting
The use of third-party software, scripts, or exploiting game bugs for an unfair advantage is strictly forbidden. If you find a bug, report it; don't use it.
Microphone Requirement
This is a Voice-RP community. A working, high-quality microphone is required at all times. Using text-to-speech or playing music through your mic without an RP reason is prohibited.
OOC vs IC Separation
Keep Out-Of-Character (OOC) disputes out of In-Character (IC) interactions. Using OOC information to gain an IC advantage is considered Metagaming.
Roleplay Guidelines
Rules governing the quality and realism of your character's story.
Value Your Life (FearRP)
Your character must behave realistically in life-threatening situations. If someone has a gun to your head, you must comply. You are not a superhero.
No RDM & VDM
Random Deathmatch (killing without reason) and Vehicle Deathmatch (using a vehicle as a weapon) are prohibited. All violent acts require a strong RP reason.
Metagaming
Using information obtained outside of RP (like Discord, streams, or OOC chat) within the game world is strictly forbidden.
Powergaming
Forcing RP on others without giving them a chance to react, or performing unrealistic actions (like driving up a mountain in a supercar) is prohibited.
New Life Rule (NLR)
If your character dies and respawns at the hospital, you forget all events leading up to your death. You cannot return to the scene for 15 minutes.
FailRP / Realistic Driving
Your actions should make sense in a realistic setting. Examples of FailRP include talking while dead, or ignoring serious injuries after a crash.
Communication Standards
Protocols for radio and chat usage.
Language Policy
Valley Of The Sun is an English-speaking community. All In-Character interactions must be conducted in English.
Radio Etiquette
Professional channels (Police/EMS) must use proper radio codes. Casual chatter on emergency frequencies is prohibited.
OOC Chat Usage
Global OOC chat should be used sparingly for technical issues or quick questions only. Do not use it for RP conversations.
Prohibited Actions
Actions that result in zero-tolerance bans.
Sexual RP / ERP
Explicit sexual roleplay or Erotic RP is strictly prohibited on this server. This is a non-negotiable permanent ban.
Combat Logging
Quitting the game or respawning while in an active RP scene (pursuit, arrest, or medical emergency) to avoid consequences is prohibited.
Stream Sniping
Using a live stream to track, target, or harass other players is a serious violation of community standards.
